The Boston Bruins hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning in an Atlantic Division showdown Tuesday night.

The matchup was a goaltending dual between Jeremy Swayman and Andrei Vasilevskiy right down to the end, as the Bruins came away with a tight 3-1 win (empty netter). Including the best save of the night (see below) by Swayman!
Late in the third period of a 2-1 lead, the Bruins coughed up a partial 2-on-1 to the Lightning. After a pass across the ice from Brayden Point, Swayman slid over to make a fabulous save on a Corey Perry one-timer.
The NHL sophomore is slowly improving his numbers after a tough start and injury. Through eight games, he is 5-2-0 with a 2.60 GAA and a .902 SV%.
Swayman met with former Bruins goaltender, turned NESN analyst, Andrew Raycroft, to discuss the save. Catch his interview below as he describes how he ''blacked out'' when he made the save.
