Carolina Hurricanes' defenseman probably had one of the bigger one-ice meltdowns that NHL fans have seen in recent memory. Brad Marchand, Chris Wagner and Curtis Lazar did an excellent job at making DeAngelo's Sunday afternoon a terrible one.

DeAngelo isn't too fond of the Boston crowd inside TD Garden either. As Ty Anderson of 98.5, The Sports Hub, reported Monday afternoon, Tony spoke to the media about Boston Bruins fans:

"There's no panic in our locker room ... It's a 2-2 series, and we're back in front of a much louder building than in Boston, so we'll be fine ... Our crowd has been the loudest that I've played in front of [and] been in front of ... They'll make a big difference for us tomorrow night."

DeAngelo was also asked if the Hurricanes' lost their cool, judging by the nine penalties they took over the course of game four:

"No ... I don't know what emotions we're talking about here. It's playoff hockey [and] we're losing the game, right? So, obviously, we're a little frustrated, but I don't think anything happened. Nothing happened in the game. Everybody wants to write a little story or something, but we're trying to win a series here, so if you don't have any fire, then you're not going to win. So I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing, and I'm not very concerned about what anybody thinks."

He also said this when told that you're not allowed to throw your hockey stick at the puck or in the direction of an opposing player:

"Yeah, is that right? ... It's going to be a goal anyway, right? It counts. I'd rather knock off the puck, just to, you know, if it's knocked off his stick, it's going to be a goal anyway, so would you rather see it go in the net or go wide? It is what it is. It doesn't bother me very much that I can't do it."

This was the incident they were referring to, in case you missed it:

In all honesty, this doesn't make Tony DeAngelo any better than he did on Sunday. As a matter of fact, he seems like more of a poor sport and cry baby than he was during the entire game four in TD Garden.
