Sonny Milano has finally found a contract (sort of) with an NHL team once again.
Milano, 26, can be a very valuable bottom-six winger on any team in the league, which made it all that much more surprising that he hadn't signed a deal till now. It was reported that a concussion history scared teams away from taking a chance on the winger.
Until now, of course, as trusted NHL insider Elliotte Friedman was the first to report:
''Hearing Sonny Milano on a PTO to CAL''
Milano will attend training camp on a PTO with the Calgary Flames after putting up 34 points in 66 games alongside Trevor Zegras with the Anaheim Ducks last season. While shocking the former 16th overall draft pick hasn't been able to secure a guaranteed contract, it will be interesting to see if he can find a home in Calgary.
