Trevor Zegras fined for slashing Sharks defenseman in a ''sensitive'' area (VIDEO)

Today, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced that Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras has been fined $1,500 for slashing San Jose Sharks forward Matt Benning.
Watch the incident below:
The NHL 23 ''cover boy'' was given a two-minute minor for slashing on the play but this appears to be more of a spear. Zegras could've been handed a harsher punishment but it also wasn't the worst spear to date. It just so happened to catch Benning in very vulnerable area as well.
