Update on Shane Wright ahead of Kraken-Canadiens matchup
Shane Wright is called back up to the NHL after a five-game recalibration in the AHL.
Many expected the 18-year-old centremen to go first overall to the Montreal Canadiens; however, he was drafted fourth overall by the Seattle Kraken.
The 2022 first-rounder was sent down to the Coachella Firebirds after only getting one assist in seven NHL games. After a five-game run in the AHL, Wright scored four goals and will officially play against the Canadiens Tuesday night in Seattle.
