Vancouver Canucks make a big announcement involving Jake DeBrusk
Jake DeBrusk recently signed a 7 year, $38 Million dollar contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
The deal happened on July 1st, 2024 and the Vancouver Canucks added another offensive weapon to the team.
While the former Bruins winger has found a new home in Vancouver, there's always the question of the number you wore with your former club being taken.
Many players forego their old numbers, with their new teammates, or trade their numbers for material gifts, or trades depending upon the players involved.
Luckily, Jake DeBrusk will not have to buy or trade for his old number from the Bruins organization as he will keep #74 in Vancouver.
It's a painful sight to see, but it looks like DeBrusk has found a new home in Vancouver.
DeBrusk has played 465 games in the NHL, scoring 266 points( 138 G, 128 A) during his career.
