Earlier in the week the Boston Bruins were officially linked to Elias Pettersson, and JT Miller, both who have been in a lot of trade rumours recently according to Elliotte Friedman.
The Boston Bruins have been desperately needing a true number one center, and they went out and signed Elias Lindholm in the off-season hoping he could fill the void, but he hasn't cut it for the Bruins this year.
With that being said, the Bruins are still looking for a number one center, and if they could acquire either Pettersson or Miller that would fill the void of not having a number one center.
The Bruins have reportedly been in on both of Pettersson and Miller according to reports.
Now, a report has come out and revealed that the Boston Bruins may be close to pulling off a trade for one of the Vancouver Canucks centers.
Marco D'Amico a National Hockey League insider revealed that the Vancouver Canucks management values some of the Boston Bruins players, which could lead to the Bruins and Canucks making a deal happen.
The Boston Bruins would more then likely have to send someone like Matt Poitras, or Fabian Lysell along with other things to make this deal happen though.
