The 2011 Stanley Cup champion with the Boston Bruins, was married to Brittany since July 19th, 2012.

It appears, his situation hasn't changed as he remained on leave after the season.

All the while, Don Sweeney will not be offering Lucic a new contract for the 2024-2025 NHL regular season.

So while Lucic, is a fan favorite in Boston, it appears his time here is over.

Should Lucic want to play in the NHL next season, he may have to dig around with his agent to find another team that needs a 4th liner.

His last salary was $1.5 Million, which included a NMC for the 2023-2024 season.

Lucic would finish his career in Boston, playing only 4 games, with 2 points, and a plus/minus of -1.
