The Boston Bruins have removed their first player from training camp off of their roster.

Training camp is all about making a name for yourself and proving to the organization why you should be there. It's normal to see teams make cuts as they go through preseason, and the Boston Bruins just made their first rounds of cuts today.

The Boston Bruins announced today that they have cut Loke Johansson from their roster and that he will be returning to Moncton in the QMJHL.

Johansson did not appear in a game for the Boston Bruins, and he isn't going to after being cut, reporters suggested that he showed good potential during training camp.

The Boston Bruins drafted Loke Johansson in the 6th round of the 2024 NHL Entry Level Draft 186th overall.

Loke Johansson has been playing in the Sweden J20 SuperElit league for the past two seasons, and will not go play for Moncton in the QMJHL.

The 18-year old will develop in the QMJHL and try to crack a roster spot with the Boston Bruins in the future.
