The Boston Bruins have announced that they have recalled multiple players from the AHL on an emergency basis ahead of Sunday's game in Philadelphia.
A Different Looking Lineup?
The team shared earlier today that five players have been called up from the Providence Bruins. As per the Bruins PR:
''BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 9, that the team has recalled forwards Vinni Lettieri and Oskar Steen, defensemen Jack Ahcan and Connor Carrick, and goaltender Brandon Bussi from Providence on an emergency basis.'' Nothing has been confirmed but many Bruins could use the extra rest down the stretch. However, they're also one win away from the best single-season record in NHL history. It should be done with all the players that have been important in getting that done, in the lineup.
