Elliotte Friedman is one of the most trusted and reliable insiders in the National Hockey League, and he may have just leaked what the Boston Bruins plans are with interim head coach Joe Sacco.
After dropping their sixth straight loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Empty Netters Podcast made a public statement on X asking if the Bruins could fire 2 head coach's in one season, and Elliotte Friedman has weighed in on it.
When Joe Sacco originally took over after the Boston Bruins fired Jim Montgomery back in November, the Bruins looked better and held a 12-5-1 record in his first 18 games.
Recently things have gotten bad for the Bruins though as they dropped six games in a row against some winnable teams, and Sacco now holds a record of 13-10-2 on the season for the Bruins.
Elliotte Friedman revealed he's not sure what the Bruins plans are this season with Joe Sacco, if they are going to give him the rest of the season, or if they go to a new head coach.
