The news broke yesterday that former Bruins legend Jaromir Jagr is set to join the Pittsburgh Penguins in a new front office role.

There's no word on what the exact role will be and this has been rumored now for several months after the Penguins and Jagr mended fences to which the organization retired his number and gave him a night that he will never forget.

In an interesting turn of events, the team will allow him to work remotely from his home in Czechia. The 52-year-old had an illustrious career in the NHL which spanned from 1990 through 2018. He had played for 9 NHL organisations which included a stop in Boston in 2012-2013.

Having won 2 Stanley cups with the Penguins Anne plane 1733 games, scoring 766 goals with 1155 assists for 1921 points and is a + 322. Also inducted into the hockey Hall of Fame, Jagr continues to play at home up until this year.

It's likely later on in the summer it will be announced on what his role will be with the Penguins an it's possible he could be a spokesman for the Penguins or a scout who will look for players in Europe.
