If these reports are true Ottawa Senators fans will not be fond of it.
It seems like a no brainer that Linus Ullmark might be heading to a different team this off-season with reports surfacing this year that the Boston Bruins were trying to send him in a trade at the NHL trade deadline.
It's not a matter of if Ullmark gets traded it's almost certain it will happen we just don't know when. Jeremy Swayman showed this year in the playoffs that he is the future of the Boston Bruins and the Bruins made it clear he will be their top priority heading into the off-season to get signed.
One of the teams that is reportedly showing a lot of interest in Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark is the Ottawa Senators.
Insider Bruce Garrioch for the Ottawa Senators reported that the team made an attempt to acquire Ullmark at the trade deadline but they couldn't get anything finalized. He has since reported that it seems the Senators could still be interested and would be willing to give some massive pieces up to acquire Linus Ullmark.
The Bruins would be getting a very solid offensive defensemen in Jakob Chychrun and a first-round pick along with him for Linus Ullmark, which should be a no doubter for the Bruins as they don't have many picks, and it's hard to come by game changing offensive defensemen.
As seen on Hockeyfeed - Rumblings of insane trade between Boston and Ottawa.
