The player could be replacing Jake DeBrusk may have just been revealed.

The Boston Bruins and Jake DeBrusk could not come to an agreement on a contract in the off-season after being eliminated by the Florida Panthers for the second time in the last two years, this time being in the second round where the Bruins would lose in 6 games.

Following the exit in the playoffs, Jake DeBrusk stated that he loves it in Boston and wants to stay there. Clearly Don Sweeney had other intentions as he stated the Bruins took an aggressive approach with DeBrusk, and he would ultimately end up leaving in free agency, and would sign with the Vancouver Canucks.

A recent poll has surfaced on Twitter or now know as X, asking Boston Bruins fans who should replace Jake DeBrusk on the second RW line.

Trent Frederic, Fabian Lysell, Morgan Geekie, and other were the options listed in the poll and 50.5% of fans voted for Fabian Lysell to take Jake DeBrusk's spot on the second line.

Morgan Geekie got 25.3% of the votes, Trent Frederic got 21.1% of the votes and other got 3.2% of the votes.

The Boston Bruins went out in free agency and picked up some big names to help with some of the players they lost, like Nikita Zadorov, and Elias Lindholm.
