The season continues to march closer, as it is now September 10th, 2024 and the Bruins and Swayman haven't finalized anything.

The fans of the Boston Bruins were arguably spoiled, as they had a goalie tandem of Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman, which won the fan's heart. However, the duo was torn apart this offseason, as Ullmark was sent to Ottawa in June and fans were hopeful Swayman could lead the way.

But as Swayman and Sweeney continue to hash out the deals, fans are becoming incensed.

A Boston Bruins fan media outlet named "Bruins Network" on X has revealed troubling information. As it appears Swayman and Lewis Gross have gone silent and disappeared from the process.

Sweeney and the Bruins have been open and ready for discussion, but Gross and Swayman have gone AWOL during negotiations.

Some fans think this isn't Swayman's fault, as the Bruins failed to make Sway a priority to sign last offseason.

Swayman had a winning record in the league, playing 44 games for the Bruins, with a 25-10-8 record, a .916 save percentage, and a .253 GAA.

Will Swayman fumble his own extension? The Bruins were counting on him to play 60 games in 2024.
