It's been revealed by David Pagnotta of the fourth period that Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark has blocked a trade to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been scouring the league have looking for trades to help upgrade their goaltender position. Pending unrestricted free agent Ilya Samsonov appears to have played his final game with the Leafs after losing in the first round to the Bruins.

With their limited amount of draft capital, the Leafs would need to make a trade to acquire Ullmark. Those chances have been reduced now that Ullmark has stated he does not want to move his no trade clause.

"The Leafs are not in the mix for Ullmark, though, as Toronto is on his no-trade list. Ottawa is also believed to be on his list, but two separate sources have told me he would accept a trade to the Senators if a deal between the two teams is finalized." Pagnotta said.

It's a 15-team trade list which means the player and the general manager will get to choose the team that he could go to if a trade is crafted.

The Bruins will need to decide soon as the NHL draft is now only six days away and major goalie trades tend to happen during the draft. With Jeremy Swayman prepare to take over the number one starting job, the Bruins would be best to trade Ullmark for a player, prospects or draft picks which they're lacking all the way to the fourth round this year.
