Boston Bruins fans are expressing their thoughts on Montgomery after a troubling start, and are calling for the Bruins to let Montgomery go.

Boston Bruins fans are starting to question whether head coach Jim Montgomery has lost the locker room. Recently, a question was posed on social media asking if fans believe Montgomery has lost control of the team. The responses were clear-many Bruins supporters think he has.

Not hitting the panic button on this season by any means so far, but am I the only one who feels Monty may have lost or is losing the locker room?

The team is currently sitting at 3-3-1 to start the season, not a disastrous record by any means, but the Bruins' play on the ice has been inconsistent. Some fans feel that the disconnect between the coach and the players could be to blame.

Despite the early success in Montgomery's tenure with the Bruins, including a record-breaking regular season in 2022-23, recent games have shown struggles, particularly with key players not producing. Bruins fans are noticing a lack of energy and cohesion on the ice, leading some to believe that Montgomery's message isn't getting through.

I think he's lost them. Part of me has felt like Brad hasn't been the same since Bergy retired, same with Pasta and Krecho.
But the players do seem like they haven't been listening to Monty as much as you'd expect your players to listen to their coach.

While it's too early to make drastic conclusions, the conversation around Montgomery losing the room is picking up steam. If the Bruins' inconsistency continues, this concern could grow, putting pressure on the coach to regain the trust and focus of his team.
