Surprise Mid Game Line Changes Hits The Bruins
At the midway point of the game between the Boston Bruins and the San Jose Sharks, head coach Jim Montgomery decided to shake things up with some significant line changes.
The Bruins were already leading 2-0, but Montgomery wasn't content to rest on the lead.
One of the key changes saw Brad Marchand return to the first line, rejoining his fellow star forwards. James van Riemsdyk (JVR) found himself promoted to the second line, while Jake DeBrusk was moved down to the third line.
These changes injected fresh energy into the Bruins' lineup and kept the Sharks guessing. While the team was already in the lead, Montgomery's moves signaled a commitment to maintaining their momentum and securing a convincing victory.
