The Boston Bruins have two rookies who will look to expand their roles with the team in 2024-2025.

John Beecher and Mason Lohrei, stood out for the Bruins last season as they added needed depth to a beaten, and broken Bruins roster.

After losing Lucic, Bergeron, Hall, and Foligno, the Bruins desperately needed help and they had rookies step up and make themselves relevant in the lineup.

Beecher's career face-off win percentage with the Bruins was an impressive 54.6% during his first season with the Bruins.

This bodes well for the Bruins, as he will continue to take important draws for the club, and winning more than half of his 500 faceoffs is a great stat.

Mason Lohrei played 41 games with the Bruins last season, scoring 13 points( 4 G, 9 A) and according to DailyFaceoff projects to be a bottom-pairing defenseman with Andrew Peeke in 2024-2025.

In the long run could he evolve into a top-pairing defenseman, playing with Charlie McAvoy? Don't count him out yet.
