We're just two days into the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and fans have already seen their fair share of rough stuff and fights.
On the first day of the postseason, it was the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning that saw six misconducts handed out after a line brawl near the end of the Leafs' 5-0 win.
This time it was out West, in game one between the Calgary Flames and the Dallas Stars. It was started by someone who probably won't surprise you. None other than Flames' pest, Matthew Tkachuk.
Watch his fight against Stars' forward Michael Raffl:
Defensemen John Klingberg of the Stars and Rasmus Andersson of the Flames' also got into a fight. They were both kicked out of the game for either starting a fight while another one was happening or for starting a fight after the period ending horn.
A massive hit by Tkachuk on Klingberg behind the Dallas net is what started everything.
Watch Sportsnet's entire breakdown of the events that occurred:
The Flames would hold on to win the game 1-0 over the Stars to also take a 1-0 series lead.
