The Bruins will be looking for some revenge as they dropped both decisions to Anaheim last season. 5-3 in Boston on January 24th and 4-3 at the Honda Center on March 1st.
Hampus Lindholm, who was acquired from the Ducks at last season's Trade Deadline, will be playing his former team for the first time.
Expected lines for the Bruins:
Zacha-Bergeron-DeBrusk
Hall-Krejci-Pastrnak
Frederic-Studnicka-Coyle
Foligno-Nosek-Greer
Lindholm-Reilly
Forbort-Clifton
Grzelcyk-Zboril
Ullmark
KEYS POINTS:
Linus Ullmark will get the start after coming in for relief of Jeremy Swayman in the Bruins' 7-5 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday. The Swedish netminder has looked good this season, sporting a 2-0-0 record with a 2.58 GAA and a .927 SV%.
Matthew Grzelcyk is officially coming off the injured reserve and will make his season debut. A depleted blueline will be without Brandon Carlo (injury) and Anton Stralman (visa issues) again tonight (and, of course, Charlie McAvoy).
Jack Studnicka will also be making his season debut, centring a line with Trent Frederic and Charlie Coyle. The 23-year-old has 1 goal and 6 assists in 37 career NHL games.
Craig Smith and Jakub Lauko will be healthy scratches once again.
