Tough news today out of Detroit, as the club announced yet another forward will miss time due to injury.
Already without Jakub Vrana, Robby Fabbri, Filip Zadina, Matt Luff and Elmer Soderblom, head coach Derek Lalonde revealed the unfortunate news Friday. As per the Red Wings PR:
Tyler Bertuzzi had successful surgery this morning and is expected to be out 6 weeks, per Coach Lalonde. Bertuzzi left Wednesday's game against the Buffalo Sabres after taking a shot off his hand. The forward has one goal and three assists in nine games, as he missed 13 games earlier after breaking his right hand.
