It's safe to say the Boston Bruins are the NHL's best team this town, and because of that, have been heavily linked to every big name available.
However, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI brought up an interesting trade candidate regarding the Bruins and Sharks.
As per McLaughlin:
''With the Sharks in town... I wonder about Nick Bonino as a trade target for the Bruins. Left-shot center, good defense, plays on PK, improves the 4th line, veteran who's won 2 Cups, UFA after the season.''
Bonino would be an upgrade to fourth line centre position for the Bruins, won't cost very much to acquire, and as mentioned above, has a lot of playoff experience.
The 34-year-old has 8 goals and 8 assists in 43 games with the Sharks this season.
Bonino was also born in Connecticut and spent three years at Boston University.
