While youngsters are ready to step in on the offensive side of things, there's not much ready on the defensive side of things.
The team still needs that help on the left side of the blueline that they were looking for during the trade deadline, which never happened.
Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic believes the best way to land that help is to give up one of their pieces on the left side, Torey Krug.
Shinzawa believes sacrificing the puck moving defenseman for a more stable defensive minded lefty would better serve the Bruins needs. He throws out a couple of names like Oscar Klefbom and Darnell Nurse of the Edmonton Oilers, however it would probably take some more pieces than just Krug to land either one.
It would be an extremely bold move, one that general manager Don Sweeney probably isn't ready to make.
Do you think Sweeney would ever consider movingKrug?
