Veteran NHL defenseman Ian Cole facing serious accusations of sexual abuse

A recently created Twitter account from an anonymous female has accused Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Ian Cole of grooming and sexual abuse.
The user alleges that through Cole's first few seasons in the league, he groomed her as a teenager and engaged in sexual acts with her while she was in high school. She also alleges that she was not Cole's only victim, as she has since met and talked with other girls who had a very similar story to hers.
The unnamed source also alleges that some of Cole's teammates became aware of her story, though nothing ever came of it.
