Kyle Keyser's last contract with the Boston Bruins was signed for a league minimum $775K for 2023-2024.

He however, was given an emotional heartfelt parting message from the Bruins organization.

Thank you for the last five seasons, Kyle.

Best of luck.

Keyser's contract in the NHL, was a two-way contract, but had been sent down to the ECHL at-times, as a result of the goalie logjam in Boston.

Goalie Kyle Keyser signs one-year, one-way deal with Kunlun Red Star

🇺🇸 Coral Springs, FL native, Keyser spent last five seasons with the @NHLBruins organisation, recording 73 AHL and 42 ECHL games for Bruins' affiliate teams. He won with @usahockey at 2019 IIHF WJC U-20

Its been announced after his parting with the organization, he has signed with the Kunlun Red Star, the only KHL team in China.

Could Keyser find a path back to the NHL, if he is able show he's still got it with the Red Star?

It's unfortunate, but his path to the AHL was blocked by Michael DiPietro and Brandon Bussi which passed him on the depth chart.
