The Stanley Cup winning squad was in Boston to celebrate their championship's 50th anniversary.
When it comes to treating their alumni with class, the Bruins sure know how to do things right. So when they called up the 1972 Stanley Cup winning squad for a ceremonial puck drop, you knew the oldtimers were in for a treat.
Prior to last night's game against the Ottawa Senators, the former Bruins were allowed to take in the B's morning practice, visit the revamped Garden, and some even got to jump on the ice!
While not every member of the Big Bad Bruins was able to make it to the ceremony - notable names like Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito could not make it - those who were on hand got to relive some of their most cherished memories.
