The Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes are getting set for game six of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal playoff series.

The Hurricanes have taken all home games in Raleigh in rather convincing fashion, thanks to two 5-1 wins and one 5-2. At the same time, the Bruins took games three and four back at TD Garden in Boston by a 4-2 and 5-2 scores. The best-of-seven series is now 3-2 for the Hurricanes, with the Bruins on the edge of being eliminated from the postseason.
The Bruins got great news on Tuesday right before puck drop that Charlie McAvoy had been cleared to play. Tonight, there's more good news as Hampus Lindholm skated this morning in a full practise jersey and has officially been cleared to play. Subsequently, head coach Bruce Cassidy announced that defenseman Matthew Grzelcyk would be the odd man out in Lindholm's return but that he is dealing with his own nagging injury as well.
Cassidy said that he would be switching up the forward lines as well. It looks like he is splitting up "The Perfection Line" and going to the top-six that had great success down the regular-season stretch.
Chris Wagner is out, and Trent Frederic is back in. Jeremey Swayman will start in net once again.
Here's how they will look for game six:
Marchand – Bergeron – DeBrusk
Hall – Haula – Pastrnak
Frederic – Coyle – Smith
Foligno – Nosek– Lazar
Lindholm – McAvoy
Reilly – Carlo
Forbort – Clifton
Swayman
Ullmark
Antti Raanta will start again in game six for Carolina after an excellent performance in game five. Forward Jordan Martinook did skate with the team Thursday morning after missing games four and five with a lower-body injury. However, Hurricanes' head coach Rod Brind'Amour will most likely be going with the same lineup as game five.
So expect the Hurricanes' lines to look as such:
Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis
Teravainen - Trocheck - Necas
Niederreiter - Staal - Fast
Domi - Kotkaniemi - Stepan
Slavin - DeAngelo
Skjei - Pesce
Smith - Cole
Raanta
Kochetkov
Puck drop is set for 7 pm EST at TD Garden in Boston. Losing game five was heartbreaking for the Bruins, but it's a best-of-seven for a reason. Hopefully, the Bs can force a game seven and still one on the road Saturday night!
