Former Boston Bruins captain and Stanley Cup Champion, Zdeno Chara is trending after completing a marathon in an incredible time.
Zdeno Chara has been doing anything but relaxing after calling it a career in the NHL in 2022, as he has competed in multiple marathon's and triathlon's.
Zdeno Chara has competed in the Boston and New York marathons ever since retiring and recently competed in a triathlon in Sweden this summer.
Chara did not only compete in the triathlon, but also completed it in an incredible time, reportedly Chara finished it in 10 hours and 20 minutes.
«Chara swam the 2.4-mile (3.8km) Baltic Sea swim course in a time of 1:26:08, biked the 112-mile (180km) bike course in 5:12:03, and ran the 26.2-mile marathon course in 3:48:54, finishing in a total time of 10:40:48,» Ironman reported.
Chara continues to challenge his body, even in retirement!
